Rulang: Skipping Australia National Championships 2009

I would like to take this opportunity to share some thoughts with my enthusiasts, especially the P2 school skipppers, who have been to Brisbane for their first skipping competition:

Past is experience;
Present is experiments;
Future is expectations;
Use your Experience in your Experiments to achieve your Expectations

Ganbette!
Best wishes for all your forthcoming competition.

The awaiting results:

As the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words" (畫意能達萬言). Many of the taken pictures are by the courtesy of the parents who have gone with us to Brisbane.

Rest and Relax

It's unbelievable that the pupils enjoy roller-coaster rides (eg, Wipeout, 360 degrees turn, The Giant Drop, a cool 90 degrees suspension and a real sudden drop, etc) very much. :o)

Getting ready to go to our new accommodation... are they independent?
Goodbye to our initial accommodation....
Our final confirmed accommodation on the last day, we woke up at 6am and bought breakfast for all at a convenience store.

Presenting the pupils who have just woken up on the last day before leaving for Singapore.....

Before touching down at Changi Airport,

Special thanks to all........

Kudos to all our little darlings and dear parents, especially to my fellow colleague, Rachael Goh, whom I have been working with, before, during and after the trip and the many great challenges that we have met and learnt. Thank you very much for all your kind understandings, cooperation and patience. :o) Have a great week ahead. Here's a short improvised version of Mariage D'Amour by me to everyone. :o)

Not to forget our school principal, Mrs Lim for providing us her invaluable advice, Mr Chan for his patience and prompt sms replies, Kavitha, Yanti, Yan Cheng, Coach Evon, both our bosses and many other teachers, who have guided us in one way or another. :o) Three cheers for Rulang! I shall end this invaluable learning experience of this trip with a poem:

The Road not Taken (by Robert Frost)
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
and sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
and looked down one as far as I could
to where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
and having perhaps the better claim
because it was grassy and wanted wear;
though as for that, the passing there
had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
in leaves no feet had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference

Warm Regards
Miss Ee
